This 100 percent cotton throw rug is made by cotton weavers in the northern Indian state of Uttranchal. The women prepare and spin the cotton fibers and the men weave the throws. These beautiful designs are achieved by interweaving the various colors of the vertical and horizontal strands of the rug. It can be used as a hanging piece or as a floor covering. This rug boasts rich tones in cream, black, light blue, orange and brown.

Slight variation in the color, design and size in each piece is normal in handmade rugs. Due to the difference of monitor colors, some rug colors may vary slightly.
